Export to AP242 (default), AP214 and AP203 STEP file formats is supported. To change the export version go to File > Settings > Data exchange > Export > STEP file format.
Note:
The supported formats depend on your type of EPLAN Harness proD license.
- Make sure that the checkbox 3D exportable in the properties panel is activated for parts which you wish to export. Sub-parts do not have a checkbox because they are automatically exported with their parent parts. In addition, checkboxes for object types are also located in the File > Settings > Application > Data exchange > Export in the 3D document environment.
-
Go to Workspace / Workdesk > Export > 3D model.
The Save as dialog is opened for you to browse to a suitable location, assign a name, and determine the file type.
- Click [Save].
The export is carried out.
Note:
When exporting a 3D model with an image, the image is not exported.
