Cause
If a bus port (input) and a bus port (output) exist with the same device tag and the same bus system, the output takes over the bus data of the input.
In the concrete case bus data were entered subsequently at the bus port (output) that contradict those at the bus port (input). The full DT of the bus port at the input is output in the placeholder <x> of the message.
This check run only checks bus ports at which a configuration project is entered.
The message is displayed when one of the following properties is different:
- Physical network: Name
- Logical network: Name
- Logical network: Bus port is master
- Physical network: Bus ID / item number
- Physical network: Bus ID / item number 2
- DNS/PROFINET device name
- Data transfer rate
- Integrated module
- MasterSystemID
- Subnet mask
- Subslot
- Marked for deletion.
Solution
- Locate the bus port (output) in the schematic by using the functionality Go to 2nd coordinate which the popup menu Message management offers you.
- Call up the property dialog of this bus port and delete the entered information in the fields of the Bus data tab.
- Click [OK].
- Start a new check run.
Notes:
- Do not change the DT at the bus port (output) and also not the setting for the bus system! Otherwise the bus data are not taken over from the bus port (input). It is possible to jump to the bus port (input) in the schematic from the popup menu of the message management by using the Go to (graphic) functionality.
- The check run also checks bus ports that are general network or bus cable connection points and that have the same bus interface name, which is, however, only valid for Ethernet-based bus systems. In this case the data may only be entered at the main bus port to eliminate the fault.
