For the translation of texts that only differentiate in numerical values, you can enter the keywords with placeholders into the dictionary (for example Voltage %0V). So far the %0 placeholder only stood for any number (for example 12 or 240 etc.). Now such a placeholder can also stand for numbers that, for example, contain a comma, a point, a slash or a preceding sign (for example 12; 2,5; +-2.5; 3/4 etc.).

In the user settings of the dictionary the new Detect decimal numbers setting is available. A menu path to this setting is: Options > Settings > User > Translation > Dictionary.

If this check box is activated, the decimal numbers and numbers with preceding signs are detected during the translation. Numbers that contain at least one digit and any combination of signs, commas, point, plus, minus and slash ("/") without any blank space between, are considered as one number. For the translation texts that contain such decimal numbers, only one keyword with a %0 placeholder is required in the dictionary. In this way one keyword, Voltage %0V can be used to translate multiple words such as Voltage 12V, Voltage 2.5V, Voltage +12V.

If the check box is deactivated, only numerical sequences - as in the past - are detected as individual numbers. In this case multiple keywords for the possible combination of numbers and signs are required in the dictionary. If a number contains, for example, a comma, the sequences before and behind the comma are interpreted as separate numbers.
