Cause

During the import of PLC bus data a PLC module with an incorrect DT format or without existing DT was determined. This is the case, if, for example, the preceding signs "=", "+", "-" in the PLC configuration program have been forgotten and therefore no unique assignment is possible to the structure properties (function designation, location designation, DT).

Solution

Possibility 1

1. Locate the object in the schematic by using the Go to (graphic) functionality from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
2. Select the following commands: File > Settings > Projects > "Project name" > Devices > DT syntax check.
3. If you want to use the characters "+", "-", "_", "*" and "?", activate the Valid special characters check box in the Device tag group box of the Electrical engineering tab.
4. Select the Special text characters check box as well, if you want to allow special characters, such as umlauts, in the device tag.
5. Copy the characters defined as allowed into the neighboring field without adding any dividers.
6. In order to delete the message, start a new check run after the modification.
7. Import the PLC data again.

Possibility 2

Change the DT in the PLC configuration program you use and restart the PLC import.
