Information on using

  • EPLAN Smart Wiring takes the form of a browser application and launches in Internet Explorer 11 or in Microsoft Edge in full screen mode.
  • The software is optimized for "touch" operation for use on mobile Windows devices.
  • Windows and dialogs have a fixed size that cannot be changed!
  • Some buttons, such as for searching and sorting routing connections, have 3 states that are represented by means of different symbols. The state changes when the button is clicked or tapped.
  • All functionalities and settings can be reached via the flyout menu, which can be called up from the title bar.
  • Some figures are displayed strongly scaled down. Click or tap them to see them at full size.
