Exporting an XML template file
For each element of a configurator you can export an XML template file. The template file contains all the configuration variables that you require in the Project BuilderThe project-specific configuration and the automatic generation of the project documentation takes place in the Project Builder on the basis of the configurators and sets of rules defined in the Designer. for the configuration of the element. If you fill the configuration variables in the XML template file with values, you can import them to the Project Builder for the configuration. This way the configuration process is clearly reduced.
Example: XML template file for the configurator 'Sample project (step-by-step)'
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Configuration typical="Sample project (step-by-step)">

Preconditions
- You have called up the DesignerConfigurators and sets of rules are defined on the basis of EPLAN macros in Designer. These form the basis for the configuration and the automatic generation of the project documentation. library and opened the library that includes the configurator for which you want to perform an export.
- You have selected the configurator in the Configurators tab in the Page list.
